Cha-am Has The Longest Beach in Thailand

Food and transportation are cheap. You don't have to worry about heating bills, and you only need air conditioning on average 2 or 3 months of the year.
The people of Thailand are amazingly warm and friendly. (It is not known as "The Land of Smiles" for nothing!) The society is strong on family values and tradition. In general, you will find Thailand to be a freer society than today's America; taxes and regulations are much less of a burden here.
Probably the best investment for an American in Thailand is a condominium. You can own a beach front condo for as little as about $30,000 USD. Here are some examples in our listings:
